Boy Scout Honored

Fifth grader Luke Porcari is a second year Webelos in Den 7 of Pack 99 in Babylon. He has been a scout for four years. He received the Arrow of Light Award on Friday Match 28th. The Arrow of Light is the highest honor a Cub Scout can receive. He joined Boy Scout Troop 194 at the Bridging Ceremony that evening. Congratulations Luke!!


C-Span's StudentCam Contest

Congratulations to 8th grader Stephen Clarke for winning Honorable Mention in the 2008 C-Span StudentCam Competition for his video titled “Healthcare”. C-Span sponsors this annual documentary competition to “encourage students to think seriously about issues that affect our communities and our nation. Students are invited to identify a current political point of interest and produce a short video documentary which creatively explores an issue while integrating C-Span programming.” This year’s competition included 313 entries.
